Key Responsibilities
- Development and support whole of Government websites, online applications and the intranet.
- Applies knowledge of developments to improve service to our clients.
- Contribute to the development of the primary websites.
- Provide second-line support for the government websites, liaising with the IT service desk and content editors to resolve problems.
- Work with clients to gather requirements, advise on web development best practices and contribute to project planning.
- Create and maintain software documentation.
Knowledge & Experience
- Good knowledge and experience of PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and JavaScript.
- Experience developing responsive, accessible and standards-compliant websites.
- Knowledge of web standards and progressive enhancement.
- Knowledge and experience of software testing, including unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing, etc.
- Experience with developing for template-based web content management systems.
